Make Along with Naomi Craft Buddy: How to make a Daffodil using Forever Flowerz Dies

Posted by Andrew Welch on

What you will need

  • Forever Flowerz Pretty Poinsettia die set
  • Forever Flowerz Romantic Roses die set
  • Craft Buddy Flower Papers
  • Forever Flowerz tool
  • Forever flowerz accessories (stem, medium basket, peony stamen, end cap)
  • Die cutting machine (A5 or larger)

  1. Collect everything you need
  2. Place your petal dies onto the cutting plate
  3. Position the Flower paper for the daffodil trumpet over the Romantic Rose five petal section of the die. Also cut one small and one large of the Pretty Poinsettia petals

Top Tip- Fold the flower paper to fit the die you are using and cut up to four layers at a time

4. Now you have all you need to create your own daffodils

5. Place two stems onto the flower tool (one acts as a stopper and makes forming flowers easier)
6. Place the peony stamen dome side down and push onto the stem
7. Continue to push the stamen until they flip over and look like a jellyfish
8. Add on the Romantic Rose five petal
9. Push on the medium basket to shape the petals into a daffodil trumpet
10. Add the small poinsettia petal
11. Next add the large poinsettia petals
12. Finally, push on the end cap to shape your flower
TA-DAH Well done now you can make Forever Flowerz daffodils over and over again!

Use with all of our Forever Flowerz accessories to make stunning arrangements.

You can also use a wide variety of materials such as felt, crepe paper and tissue paper to make these flowers

Happy Crafting!

  • Oh Naomi, these are beautiful. My mum’s favourite flowers are daffodils so this is the most perfect inspiration – I will be trying this for her birthday. Thank you so much.
